Our ambition is to bring together a cross-section of writers from a variety of backgrounds and nations to provide a vivid portrait of contemporary literature. Poets, journalists, historians and novelists mingle with dramatists, filmmakers and critics, giving the Cúirt audience a chance to hear the voices behind the written word.

A series of book launches, seminars, workshops, films and theatre performances will take place throughout the week and the weekend events include the famed Cúirt Poetry Grand Slam, The Bardic Brunch and Cúirt Cois Farraige: Turas Inis Oírr, an excursion by sea to a multilingual literature and music event in the Aran Islands.
